Annual Art on the Vine

The Fairfield Visual Arts Association (FVAA) invites the public to their 8th annual spring art festival, Art on the Vine, the weekend of June 7th and 8th, 11 AM to 5 PM each day, featuring original visual art and sculpture by local Valley and surrounding Bay Area artists. The festival is FREE to attend and will be held at: Wooden Valley Winery, 4756 Suisun Valley Road, Suisun Valley/Fairfield, CA. There will be a pre-showing of sample work by the artists participating in Art on the Vine held at the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts Gallery, located at 1035 Texas St., Fairfield, CA. The gallery show is called Early Vines and is open Thursday May 8th - Saturday June 5th from 11 AM to 4 PM Thursday - Saturday weekly. Admission to the FCCA art gallery is always free to the public. Thursday May 8th there will be a reception for the artists at the gallery from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. The reception is free and the public is welcome to attend.
Hundreds of people attend the Art on the Vine spring art festival to view and purchase art. In addition to the art, there will be food, wine tasting and live music. A drawing will be held at the end of the festival for raffle prizes. Information can also be obtained by calling 707-428-0400.

The event is free of charge to attend and open to the public.
The magical sounds of the Ray Zak Jazz Trio will be enjoyed by all while viewing the paintings, photographs, ceramics, sculpture, porcelain art and much more on display. Light snacks, and wine samples courtesy of Wooden Valley Winery, will be available.

There will be approximately 42 spaces; therefore, please return your artist entry forms as quickly as possible to reserve your space. FVAA artists will have first priority. Entries will be open to non-FVAA members after May 12, 2008.
